Wedding details that are easy to forget or overlook.......

Weddings are so varied and personal that it is often easy to miss so many details, especially when you are planning and organising everything yourself.

So to help you out here are a few things Brides and Grooms often over look or forget. Please remember these are not essential items, but things that people often wish they had thought of.

1. Over night bag for the newlyweds,  Its surprising how easy to forget your overnight bag, especially if you are not staying at the venue the night before.

2. Bridal emergency kit , These are some of the items you may want to think about (mini travel products are great for this) make up, plasters for blisters, ibuprofen/ paracetamol, hair pins, brush or comb, deodorant, hairspray, sanitary products, tweezers, tissues, nail varnish, perfume, super glue, stain remover, safety pins, mini sewing kit, lint roller, timeline of events.

3. Gifts for the Bridal party/ family, not everyone does this so don’t worry if your not, but it is very easy to forget these, traditionally gifts are given to the maid of honour, best man, bridesmaids, mother and father of the bride.

4. To eat or drink before the wedding , sometimes you are so busy rushing around that you forget to have a snack or even a drink, be sure to make have time so you don’t faint or get dehydrated.

5. Phone chargers, although you probably wont have much desire or time to check your Facebook page, you may need your mobile for important contact details, to take a selfie with your new spouse, or even so people can get hold of you. Also members of the wedding party may need a charger too.

6. WhatsApp or text group chat, you can add the guests, bridal party etc to a group chat, this is really helpful for any guests who have questions, need help with directions or possibly to lift share, this can be done days before the wedding and really helps any guests who don’t know anyone.

7. ENJOY IT !!!! this is an easy one to forget with all the stress and planning that goes in to the wedding, sometimes you spend your whole day running around trying to make sure everyone is happy, and everything is sorted out. So remember to take a breath and truly enjoy every moment.
